“Little” starring Regina Hall, Marsai Martin, and Issa Rae is a laugh out loud hilarious story of a women (Regina Hall) who transforms back to her 13-year-old self (Marsai Martin) as she learns valuable lessons about humility, friendship, and self-discovery.  Marsai Martin, who is best known for portraying Diane on the ABC television series “Blackish” not only stars in the film, but made history as the youngest Executive Producer of a Hollywood film.

The cast of “Little” have great chemistry, particularly Marsai Martin and Issa Rae who demonstrate fantastic comedic timing in every scene that they share.  Regina Hall also delivers as the self-consumed and “impossible to please” boss opposite Issa Rae’s character who is her assistant.  Other notable cast members include Justin Hartle (This is Us/ABC) and Luke James (Star/FOX).

“Little” is directed by Tina Gordon, who also co-wrote the script with Tracy Oliver who is best known for writing the box office hit film “Girls Trip” also starring Regina Hall, along with Jada Pinkett-Smith, Queen Latifah and Tiffany Haddish.  Director Tina Gordon also directed “Peeples” starring Kerry Washington and wrote the films “Drumline” and “ATL.”    During a screening and q&a of “Little,” Gordon talked about the joy of being able to direct and co-write the film. “There is no gap between what you intend as a writer and exactly what you see,” she said, “it’s exactly the movie you intend in your mind.”

“Little debuts in theaters nationwide on Friday, April 12.
